Why we're called Seamark.
A seamark is what a sailor uses to help them find their way. It may be a lighthouse, a buoy, or a tower painted so that you can see it from the water. It's there so that people who have never been somewhere before can still find it.
A seamark only works if someone maintains it. A light that's gone out, or a buoy that's drifted, is worse than none at all because people still trust it.
Every month, we look at how Google and the AI answers describe your business, and at what a customer finds when they search. When we see something wrong, we fix it.
Your website has to be found from the start and still be right a year from now. The tagline means what it says: built to be found, and kept that way.
What we think the job is now
For twenty years the focus was getting you into a list of links and hoping someone clicked. How customers find you today is changing. They ask Google or ChatGPT a question and get an answer back. Either your business is in that answer or it isn't.
If the AI answer names you, describes what you do accurately, and gives the right contact number, it has done the job better than a website visit.
So, visits still matter, just less than they used to. The bigger questions now are whether you get named by AI and whether what is said about you is accurate. The free audit answers these questions for you, and your monthly update from us keeps answering them over time.
We cannot guarantee that you will show up in an AI answer. Nobody can, and anyone who promises it is guessing. We make sure everything those systems read about you is correct and consistent, and we tell you every month what they say.
Where we work
I was born and raised in East Texas, and Seamark is based in Tyler. We work with small businesses across East Texas: Tyler, Lindale, Whitehouse, Longview, Jacksonville, Athens and all the places in between. We work outside East Texas too, including the rest of the state. A website, a Google listing and the answers AI gives about you can all be looked after from anywhere.
Who's behind this
I'm Daniel. I've been an engineer for 22 years working on systems design. I'm used to designing things that have to keep working correctly for many years, and that habit carries over here.
I started this because I saw an opportunity to help a few friends who own small businesses. Owner-operators are busy running the business, and AI could help them grow it, but almost none of them have time to figure out how on their own. I wanted to help make that happen.
What's not included
Plans do not cover paid ads, social media beyond your Google listing, photography, online stores or email marketing. If you need one of those, we'll say so and point you to someone good.
We also don't do lock-in. Your domain, your Google listing, your content and every account we set up are in your name from day one, and the site is yours once your first six months are paid. If you leave, all of it goes with you.
